He received the B.S. degree in Electronics Engineering from Technology Institute of Veracruz, Mexico in 1998, the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Research and Advanced Studies Centre (CINVESTAV) of the Polytechnic National Institute, Mexico in 2002 and the Doctoral in Engineering degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in 2007 working at The Applied Sciences and Technology Development Centre (CCADET). Currently he works as Guest scientist at the Institute of Industrial Automation and Software Technique (IAS) of the Stuttgart University in Germany. His research interests lie at the artificial intelligence, industrial automation, free software and mechatronics space technology.
